District Advisory Board Meeting

​District 6 Advisory Board Meeting (DAB 6)

The District 6 Advisory Board meets on the 1st Monday of the month (except for holidays) at Evergreen Community Center & Library, 2601 N. Arkansas. Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. Residents also have the option to participate and watch them live on the District 6 Facebook page.

The DAB receives staff reports from the Wichita Police Department, Wichita Fire Department, and the Wichita Public Library; hears presentations from City staff and community partners; and votes on zoning cases. Meetings are open to the public, and resident feedback and questions are encouraged. The meeting agenda includes links to upcoming presentations and staff reports, and it is posted (below) the Friday prior to the meeting.

Submit Comments Ahead of Time

Residents also have the option to submit comments regarding items on the DAB 6 agenda by emailing Ana Lopez, District 6 Community Services Representative, at ALopez@wichita.gov. Please provide your name, address, and which agenda item you are speaking toward, followed by comments. To ensure comments are included, all emails must be submitted no later than 4 p.m. on the day of the meeting. In lieu of reading written public comments live into the record during the meeting, such comments shall be provided in writing to the Council Member and DAB members. All written comments will be attached and made part of the official minutes of this meeting.
